Staying in control of your play
Playing should stay a pleasure. Here is what helps you avoid slipping.
The basic idea
Every page shows 18+ and a link to begambleaware.org. Only play with money you can do without and do not try to win your losses back.
Your tools
- Self-exclusion: request by e-mail from the account's address, effective within 24 hours, 6 months minimum.
- Break: 7 days of rest if you ask.
- Session tracking: keep an eye on your playing time and operations, take pauses.
- Parental control: keep your devices and credentials out of minors' reach.
Signs that should alert you
Take a break or talk to people around you if you:
- play longer or with more money than planned;
- borrow or delay payments in order to play;
- get irritable when you try to stop;
- hide how you play.
Staying in charge
- Set a budget and a duration before you start.
- See play as a leisure expense, not an income.
- Do not play tired, angry or after drinking.
- Take breaks and re-read your operations.
